GrindsWorld Tutor: Emma Stephenson

I achieved an A in Junior Certificate French, a H1 in Leaving Certificate French, and First Class Honours (1.1) results in French in each of my first three years studying Biotechnology with French at university. I also spent a summer living and working in Paris, where I gained valuable real-life experience and developed my confidence and fluency in spoken French.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Genetic Counselling in Italy, where I am learning Italian myself. This has given me a real appreciation of the challenges of learning a new language and the importance of patience, practice and building confidence.

I am passionate about French and would love to help students improve their grades, work towards achieving a H1 in the Leaving Certificate, or build their confidence in the language. I can provide support with grammar, oral preparation, written work, reading comprehension and exam technique, sharing practical tips and tailoring lessons to each student’s individual needs.
